We just transitioned from the infant car seat to the toddler seat for our 8 month old son and the biggest convenience is that it uses the same base! Of course the quality is unmatched and my son is always comfy enough to never cry on a car ride. Now that we are expecting another in a few months we excited to see how the Orbitbaby system grows with our family!

Every time we go out with it makes people turn twice, yes ! It’s that amazing. My toodler loves it as well. Love that I can use it with my stroller as well. I know I keep using “love” but I genuinely do. As a mom who is always on the go this car seat is so easy to put in and out of the car. I like the magnets on the side that keeps the straps from moving and the fact I can place the cup holder on both sides of the car seat.

United States14 years ago I was walking the streets of Menlo Park when I came across the original orbit stroller set. I was blown away by its design and functionality. I never forgot about the stroller. When I became pregnant last year I didn’t hesitate to purchase this stroller system. I get so many compliments especially when I’m taking my baby out of the car seat and people see that I’m not breaking my back. They all wish they had the same set up. When I purchased the toddler seat I didn’t love the angle of the seat. I was use to the infant seat which cradles the baby. The toddler seat is more upright. I quickly realized it didn’t matter. My daughter adjusted quickly and so did I. I recently put the toddler car seat on the stroller base for a doctors appointment. It was so convenient especially after she received her immunizations. Not having to move her twice made it more comfortable for her. Overall I love this entire system and I have every piece they offer: Infant Car Seat, Stroller Base, smart hub car seat base, jogger stroller, and toddler car seat. If we decide to have a second child I’ll be buying the helix and kick board for the stroller.

United StatesA great toddler car seat, especially if you don’t have a car or if you like to travel. Love the feature that you can just put it on the stroller frame also having that rotating 360 degree on the stroller and on the base is just making our life easier. A little on the heavier side but I think it is worth it. It feels very safe, quality is great. Easy to install with or without the base. Plus the support from Orbit baby is wonderful!

United StatesI love the seat so far. My daughter is much more comfortable, I don’t know if she will be able to fall asleep in it during long rides but she likes riding in it. The only issue I have is the wool cover is already pilling badly.
United StatesWe love orbit baby! Having a rotating car seat is an absolute game changer in the world of parenting. I so wish orbit baby made a rotating base that could accommodate front-facing car seats. I’m not looking forward to the day I can’t rotate the car seat anymore! LOL
United StatesIt is made nicely but not as functional as I thought in terms of taking it off and on the base in car/ stroller base. Very very difficult to lift in and out and I nearly drop my child every time.
Hey Janai, For toddlers we recommend taking them out of the seat when transporting for ease of use and safety. By design, to accommodate kids up to 65 lbs, our toddler seat, like many other brands, are built much more robust and therefore have more weight. But the difference between us and other brands is that our toddler car seat can come out of the car and go on a stroller, a feature unique to just Orbit Baby.
United StatesIt's great for our baby and fairly easy to use. It's a bit heavy to take out and put on the stroller, but that's a minor issue that doesn't detract from how useful and comfy it is.

United StatesAs a first time mom I absolutely love this entire system. We started off with the ride sleep and travel system and have been bought into Orbit baby for life. It was the one system we splurged on and I’d do it over and over again. Best decision we made when shopping for our daughter. When it was time to upgrade to the toddler seat we knew immediately this was the next step. It is quite upright but I think that’s just some getting used to. The magnets on the seat are brilliant. The only complaint I have the the buttons or levers to swivel the seat are quite difficult. The infant seat was so easy to swivel you could do it with one hand but this seat is much much more difficult and requires two hands to swivel which isn’t always ideal. Otherwise I like the seat overall and my daughter seems very happy!
