When it comes to safely and easily transporting your child, parents looking for maximum flexibility often opt for travel systems. These all-in-one systems typically include a car seat and stroller that connect in seconds for seamless transitions to and from the car. Some options also include a bassinet, which can make it easy to walk right out your front door for a jaunt around the neighborhood without interrupting naptime.
If your adventures need more than a standard stroller can provide, there are also jogging travel systems that offer all-terrain tires and increased maneuverability for a simple transition to a smooth ride.
Types of Travel Systems
Modular Travel Systems
When you think of a travel system, a modular system is probably what comes to mind. These classic systems include a car seat, stroller, and sometimes a bassinet. The Orbit Baby Stroll & Ride or Stroll, Sleep & Ride systems offer the ability to be rear or forward-facing. The versatility means it grows right along with your baby.
Full-Size Travel Systems
A full-size travel system achieves the ultimate in storage, function and smooth operating. This includes an infant car seat, allowing seamless transitions from car to stroller and a full-size stroller like the G5 which includes premium suspension, ample storage and all the bells and whistles one could wish for.
Jogging Travel Systems
With its all-terrain tires and elevated maneuverability, a jogging travel system can easily navigate any environment in maximum comfort. The Orbit Baby Jog & Ride provides seamless transitions between car and trail. The Jog, Sleep & Ride travel system also includes a bassinet.
Car Seat Stroller Combos
A car seat stroller combo is a convenient travel system that includes an infant car seat and a stroller. This combo allows easy transitions between car and stroller, providing safety and comfort for the baby, and simplifies outings for parents by eliminating the need to transfer the child between seats.
Bassinet Travel Systems
A bassinet stroller travel system includes a stroller with a detachable bassinet, allowing newborns to lie flat during outings. This system provides comfort and safety, making it easy to transition from stroller to bassinet for naps on-the-go.
Safety & Comfort
All of our travel systems undergo rigorous testing to ensure that their quality, safety, and durability meet and exceed industry standards. We have invested in our technology, materials and staff, to guarantee you and your family the ultimate level of comfort and protection.
Maneuverability & Portability
Our patented SmartHub® base allows you to customize your system with different seating options and positions to ensure seamless travel throughout the days and years. Ergonomic and adjustable handlebars allow a comfortable stroll for each parent, while lightweight, puncture-free tires ensure a bump-free ride for baby.
Durability
Orbit Baby strollers are made with custom aerospace-grade, anodized aluminum frames, optimized for high strength and weight. Easily turn your single travel system into a double with the Helix+ stroller attachment to accommodate your family as it grows.

Choosing the right travel system for your needs
Since travel systems are designed to make transitions seamless, consider what you’ll be transitioning to/from. Moving to and from the car with a side of errand running? The Stroll & Ride system might be for you. Need more maneuverability? The Jog & Ride travel system can provide it. If you’re expecting twins or just adding another family member, the Helix+ attachment turns your single system into a double to keep you moving without missing a step. If you’d also like to make transitions between the stroller and nursery smoother, look for a travel system that includes a bassinet option like the Stroll, Sleep & Ride or Jog, Sleep & Ride.
