Check These 4 Key Safety Areas

We love seeing your Orbit moments but if we share unsafe content, it could confuse parents or encourage risky use. Follow these quick tips to make sure your content is as safe as it is share-worthy.

Car Seat Safety

  • Harness buckled and snug
  • Chest clip positioned at armpit level
  • No bulky clothing under the harness
  • Nothing covering baby’s face
  • Straps lie flat, no twists
  • Car seats only used as intended (never on soft surfaces like beds or couches)
  • Please do not show baby asleep in the car seat

List applies to infant and toddler car seats.

In-Vehicle Safety

  • Base installed with either LATCH or seatbelt, never both
  • If forward-facing in Toddler Seat, seat must be installed with braces
  • No vehicle seat liners or extra pads
  • No mirrors, cameras, or hanging accessories
  • No toys attached to car seat
  • Car seat should not be touching the vehicle seat in front

Stroller Safety

  • Seat must be locked in parent-facing or world-facing position, never sideways
  • Harness buckled and snug every time
  • No blankets, toys, or loose items covering baby’s face
  • For infants, always use a fully reclined stroller seat, car seat, or bassinet
  • No heavy bags hanging from stroller handles

Bassinet Safety

  • The bassinet is intended for newborns, transition to stroller seat once your baby is rolling over or sitting up
  • No loose blankets, pillows, or toys inside
  • When not on stroller, use the bassinet on rocker or flat, stable surfaces only
  • Please do not show baby asleep in the bassinet
