Tried & Tested
Orbit Baby products pass Prop 65 testing. Prop 65 testing assures that products have passed standards testing for a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. We test our Infant Car Seats for Prop 65 Standards each time they go to production. The full list of Prop 65 chemicals is here .
Being Okeo-Tex® Standard 100 Certified means that the textiles in our products that come in contact with you and your child, like our upholstery, memory foam, Sun Canopy, and Cargo Basket, have been tested for harmful substances, including pesticides, toxic chemicals, and dyes.
Our G5 Infant Car Seat passes both FMVSS 302 and FMVSS 213. These are both used to confirm safety of a car seat in a vehicle used within the USA.
All Orbit Travel Systems are JPMA-Certified. JPMA offers an extra set of rigorous testing above the standard requirements, so brands can obtain additional safety certification. The JPMA Certification Seal stands for quality, safety, performance, and functionality, giving parents added peace of mind that they’re using a product that lives up to its promise.
Ensuring safety for little ones, the CPSIA included provisions that address issues like lead, phthalates, toy safety, durable infant or toddler products, third-party testing and certification and tracking labels on all US products.

Orbit Baby chooses to have our travel systems tested for safety by ASTM International, one of the largest voluntary standards developing organizations in the world.
Many ASTM standards were adopted into law by CFR Title 16, which Orbit Baby proudly passes. ASTM and CFR Title 16 test for safety of small parts and sharp edges.
Our teams strive to use materials that are sourced to be safe and non-toxic, with textiles featuring OekoTex® Certification to ensure that all fabrics touching your little one are free from pesticides, toxic chemicals, dyes, or other elements that may be harmful to you and your baby.
What is Oeko-Tex® Certification?
Oeko-Tex is a union of 18 independent research and test institutes in the field of textile and leather ecology, located within Europe and Japan. These institutes partner together to develop test methods and conduct audits to ensure that a company’s textiles are in accordance with worldwide standardized guidelines. Their comprehensive tests on both product and process guarantee risk management, consumer and environmental protection, and legal conformity. Oeko-Tex is committed to the development of high-quality textile and leather goods at all stages of product creation.
THE G5 STROLLER SYSTEM
Saved my baby!
I’m so excited that Orbit Baby’s came back into production! I just have to give you guys praise...I have the G3 and was in a car accident with my baby to where the oncoming car hit the side where my baby was sitting and your car seat saved her life! The base and seat itself didn’t move and kept her from any harm...it was like she was safely tucked in an egg. I can’t explain how truly grateful I am to have your car seat. You can most definitely count on me picking up the G5 for our next baby....
