We just transitioned from the infant car seat to the toddler seat for our 8 month old son and the biggest convenience is that it uses the same base! Of course the quality is unmatched and my son is always comfy enough to never cry on a car ride. Now that we are expecting another in a few months we excited to see how the Orbitbaby system grows with our family!
United StatesLove this car seat sooo much ! I had the infant car seat and loved it so I knew I had to get the toodler seat and I’m so glad I did. Every time we go out with it makes people turn twice, yes ! It’s that amazing. My toodler loves it as well. Love that I can use it with my stroller as well. I know I keep using “love” but I genuinely do. As a mom who is always on the go this car seat is so easy to put in and out of the car. I like the magnets on the side that keeps the straps from moving and the fact I can place the cup holder on both sides of the car seat.

United States14 years ago I was walking the streets of Menlo Park when I came across the original orbit stroller set. I was blown away by its design and functionality. I never forgot about the stroller. When I became pregnant last year I didn’t hesitate to purchase this stroller system. I get so many compliments especially when I’m taking my baby out of the car seat and people see that I’m not breaking my back. They all wish they had the same set up. When I purchased the toddler seat I didn’t love the angle of the seat. I was use to the infant seat which cradles the baby. The toddler seat is more upright. I quickly realized it didn’t matter. My daughter adjusted quickly and so did I. I recently put the toddler car seat on the stroller base for a doctors appointment. It was so convenient especially after she received her immunizations. Not having to move her twice made it more comfortable for her. Overall I love this entire system and I have every piece they offer: Infant Car Seat, Stroller Base, smart hub car seat base, jogger stroller, and toddler car seat. If we decide to have a second child I’ll be buying the helix and kick board for the stroller.

United StatesWe first purchased the travel system for the baby and enjoyed the car seat feature where you could turn it around to get the baby strapped in and out. When the time came to switch to the bigger car seat, it was a brainer that orbits car seat is the way to go. Not only it is safe and aesthetically pleasing, but it also helps us to get around and move the baby seamlessly while he is asleep into the stroller with the car seat. So, while this might cost more, the investment and convenience are totally worth it.
United StatesWe haven’t had our toddler seat for very long. Our little one got sick in the seat. Saturating the seat and straps. I have tried to spot clean the straps and the stain and smell is not coming out. Per the website you are not to submerge the straps because it will weaken the straps causing it to be a safety hazard. It takes that if you are having complications to contact support. I contacted support and she did absolutely nothing to help.
Hey Amber, So sorry to hear about your little one getting sick. Please note that spot cleaning car seat straps is industry standard and it is advised to never wash your straps in a washing machine. This is not exclusive to just us, but every brand. We tried our best to suggest how to clean your straps but giving you a brand new car seat was not something we were going to accommodate. We appreciate your feedback and we wish you and your family the best.
United StatesIt was confusing as to whether this car seat system needed a separate base or not. It does. It does not install easily. I wish there were better instructions. Once it gets installed I’m sure I will love.

United StatesTried many other brands, but to my surprise when I opened the box the craftmanship, quality, design and material were completely superior to other models. I was planning to keep for christmas, but we could not wait, worth every penny
United StatesI love the overall car seat and the fact that it revolves. The only downside is the sunshade is either on or off. I don’t believe there’s a way to keep it on but push it open or closed. And it’s so tall in my car that I can’t see baby through baby mirror if the sunshade is on. Minor thing I would change. But overall I love it!!

United StatesOverall, the orbit system has been seamless since we’ve had our little one last year. This toddler car seat is a great upgrade & Quality is fantastic. The only con for us has been transferring the seat from car to stroller. It’s quite heavy to transfer from car to stroller often compared to the infant seat.
United StatesMy 8 month old is 20 lbs and very long and he outgrew the infant carseat but transitioning into the toddler carseat I’ve noticed he’s a little too small and his head isn’t very supported when he falls asleep. His head keeps falling forward and I have to keep placing his head back on the side of the head rest. There needs to be an in between cushion insert that I can put in the carseat to prevent this from happening. I’m sure in a few weeks he will grow and this won’t be an issue. Love the feature of the magnets on the side but wish there was also a magnet to hold the middle part on the buckle down because it falls off every time I take him out of the car seat. I love the option of being able to use it without the car seat base but wish it went in a complete 360 circle so I can turn the seat all the way around when I’m in the drivers seat.

United StatesIt’s hard to put arms all the way around this to hit the side handles to pivot the car seat. I’m 5’1 and my daughter is rear facing. When I go to unlock the handles that allow it to pivot (turn) it’s so uncomfortable. I smash my daughter with my arms and have to get on my tippi toes to reach it. Other than that I love it.

United StatesI think this just comes with the nature of our babies growing , but the toddler seat is harder for me to swivel as needed than the infant seat. The swivel is a key selling point why we invested in the Orbit system, so we like that it's still available, it's just not as seamless as with the infant seat. Overall, our growing baby is still comfortable in the seat and SAFE, so we love it!
United StatesI had bought the infant G5 and absolutely loved it. We now transitioned to the toddler car seat and when I got it the car seat latches that go into the orbit swivel base were sticking and didn’t latch into the base. I was so frustrated, but I contacted their customer service and they are sending me a replacement car seat! Super happy with the service I received. They have wonderful products, so it must have been a manufacturing fluke.
